Nestled in verdant surroundings, these establishments guarantee a peaceful, serene stay, far from the hustle and bustle of the city. These oases of tranquillity, reserved exclusively for adults, do however require a vehicle. They are generally located in remote corners of the island, or difficult to reach by public transport. However, we didn&#8217;t regret the detour. However, you should be aware that the establishment is rather difficult to access. The last stretch of road is really narrow and downhill. It&#8217;s not easy to turn around once you&#8217;ve reached the bottom. It offers a pleasant setting for your stay, with just 10 modern, comfortable rooms. As its name suggests, it is home to the renowned Restaurant Engenho Velho, which serves top-quality local cuisine.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This human-scale hotel is very peaceful. We loved the outdoor pool with its direct ocean view! We found our room particularly spacious, and it even had a charming little balcony.
